I have been asked by people "What book do I recommend for people who want to start from zero?"
Now, I have read a lot of books in the past and most of them are medical school books.
I only started reading self-help books and business advice books 3 to 4 years ago.
Ever since I started reading these books, I noticed that I was able to use the information from these books more than from the books I've read in medical school.
Now, to answer the question, what book do I recommend for people who want to start from zero?
I would actually recommend to read at least three (3) books on a certain topic they want to learn more about.
Why three?
Why not one?
Why not two?
When you do research, case studies or thesis, you'll want a minimum of 3 references to prove a certain point.
That way, you will have a stronger evidence to back up your claims.
When you read at least 3 books on one topic, here's what's going to happen.
You'll learn more about that topic than at least 10% of the population.
If you're in the Philippines, you'll know more than 20% of the country's population for that particular topic.
What can you do with that information?
People can now see you as an expert in your topic.
You can now share your knowledge as a consultant or as an expert and get paid for sharing what you know.
You might ask, "How can people trust me as an expert if I don't have the proper certification?"
That's the most common limiting belief that people have.
It is also a MYTH.
You don't need to have proper certification in order to share your knowledge and become an expert.
What people care about is RESULTS.
If you can get your clients or students RESULTS, they will not care about your certificates.
If you can get a company an increase in their REVENUE, they will not care about your certificates.
They care about their RESULTS and how you can help them achieve the results they want!

The only question remains: ARE YOU GOING TO READ THEM?
Many people buy books thinking they'll absorb the information by placing the books under the pillows.
Believe it or not, these books are not going to read by themselves.
You'll actually have to open them, read every word and analyze the contents.
That's the only way you'll get to learn what's inside.
My challenge to you is this.
Read 1 book per week or 2 weeks.
Then read the same book again the following month.
You won't truly understand the contents inside by reading it once.
So make sure you read them twice or more.
Repetition is the key to mastery.
