Just like them, I, too, have been in the situation before.  It was a very challenging situation trying to keep the business alive and hoping that the next month will be different.

In 2012, my wife and I started a Food Cart Business and we invested roughly P100,000.

Our-Food-Cart

I was still a medical student back then and I used my parents’ money to start the business.

WRONG!

Make sure you understand your business very well.

Before you start, know your interests, strengths and weaknesses.  Pick a business that you are very interested in, don’t just consider the income, but also if it will make you happy doing it everyday.

Next, identify your weaknesses and improve on them.  If you are not good at selling, find someone who can teach you everything you need about selling.  If you have no computer skills, but your business requires you to be knowledgeable about computers, go out and enroll a course on computers.

You have to remember, we all have our own strengths and weaknesses.  We have our own “imperfections.”

The moment you turn these imperfections into strengths, that’s when you become an unstoppable Entrepreneur.

You can begin to imagine that you are now using your strengths with very little weaknesses to run your business.  You can now do what you love and enjoy it at the same time.  How happy and successful do you think would you be?
